Kann WLAN gesundheitsschädlich sein?

WLAN arbeitet auf 2,4 GHz mit einer Sendeleistung von 0,1 Watt. Heutige GSM Handys funken auf 0,9 und 1,8 GHZ mit einer Sendeleistung von 1-2 Watt. WLAN benutzt dabei nicht die harte PulsCode Modulation sondern das Spreitzbandverfahren DSSS oder OFDM, in denen es keinen harten Signalanstieg mehr gibt.

Elektromagnetische Strahlung umgibt uns überall – auch Licht ist elektromagnetische Strahlung. Aus heutigem Ermessen ist durch WLAN keinerlei gesundheitliche Auswirkung zu erwarten.
